The Tiago has received over 50,000 bookings.
According to the Hindu BusinessLine, the top-end variant of the Tata Tiago has accounted for 60 percent of bookings. Since its launch in early-April this year, Tata Motors have received over 50,000 bookings for the hatchback.
The Tata Tiago was launched with three-cylinder petrol and diesel engines paired to 5-speed manual transmissions. The petrol engine is a 1.2-liter three-cylinder all-aluminium Revotron unit which develops 85 PS and 114 Nm of torque whereas the 1.05-liter three-cylinder Revotorq diesel engine churns 70 PS and 140 Nm of torque. Tata Motors confirmed that it was working on an automated manual (AMT) variant as well.
The Tata Tiago is priced at INR 3.2 lakhs to INR 4.88 lakhs for the petrol and INR 3.94 lakhs to INR 5.67 lakhs for the diesel, ex-Showroom, New Delhi. Rear parking sensors, ABS and dual front airbags are offered on the top-end XT variant of the hatchback.
Some of the features of the Tata Tiago's top-end variant include ConnectNext Infotainment system, 8 speaker audio system, smartphone-based Turn-by-Turn navigation, alloy wheels, rear wiper and washer and foglights.

The diesel variant of the Tata Tiago delivers a fuel efficiency of 27.28 km/l while the petrol variant delivers 23.84 km/l according to the ARAI cycle.
