Will be unveiled in November.
Honda released a sketch of the Jazz-based Honda WR-V crossover, which is confirmed to debut at the 2016 Sao Paulo Motor Show in November. Being one of the key global markets for Honda, Indonesia was assumed to be in the list of markets for the Honda WR-V.
However, Jonfis Fandy, PT Honda Prospect Motor's marketing & after sales director, said that there are no plans yet to introduce the WR-V in Indonesia. To his knowledge, the WR-V is still a concept. If Honda Indonesia were to launch the Jazz-based crossover, it will slot between the Honda Jazz and Honda HR-V. This would be Honda's fourth crossover in the archipelago.
As seen in the design sketch, the WR-V features a new front fascia that looks quite different to the Honda Jazz. It has an aggressive bonnet, new headlamps, bumper with skid plate, roof rails and side body cladding and fenders, although the profile looks similar to the Jazz.

The Honda WR-V is in the pipeline for India next year. It will rival the Hyundai i20 Active, VW Cross Polo, Toyota Etios Cross and Fiat Urban Cross, while globally, it will go up against lower Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster variants, as well as the Hyundai HB20X, VW CrossFox and the Chevrolet Onix Activ.
