Arrives over 8 months after it was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has confirmed that the Hyundai Tucson will be launched for sale in India on October 24. This marks the return of the Tucson nameplate to India since its discontinuation in 2010, and arrives over 8 months after it was unveiled at the Auto Expo 2016.
The new Hyundai Tucson will slot between the Hyundai Santa Fe and Hyundai Creta, and help HMIL further improve its premium brand image. Reports suggest that Hyundai is keen to source 50% of the components locally, so as to price the 2016 Tucson competitively. It's expected to range between INR 17 lakhs and INR 22 lakhs (ex-showroom New Delhi).
