Reported to launch before the end of this year.
A test mule of the upcoming Mahindra e2o 4-door has been spied on Bangalore's Outer Ring Road by a Team-BHP member. The 4-door e20 is reported to launch in India before the end of this year, and is primarily designed for Europe.
The exterior has been covered with black canvas, but older spyshots have revealed that the EV will sport a new design language significantly different from the 2-door e20. The front-end will feature Mahindra’s characteristic grille with vertical slats, bigger headlamps and a clamshell hood. The wheelbase has been noticeably extended to accommodate the extra doors, while the rear-end features vertical LED taillamps and a larger tailgate.
Details on the electric powertrain are scarce at the moment. It's expected to pack more juice than the 19 kW motor in the 2-door e2o, thanks to a bigger battery. Mahindra’s Quick2Charge technology could be offered in top-end variants, which helps significantly cut down charging time.

To further increase its appeal, the four-door Mahindra e20 can avail tax benefits and incentives from the government, thus luring buyers looking for an environment-friendly, city runabout.
