Styling will be in-line with Mahindra's mainstream products.
New spyshots of the Mahindra e20 4-door from Autocar India suggest that the EV will sport a new design language significantly different from the 2-door e20. The styling will be in-line with Mahindra's mainstream products.
The front-end appears to feature Mahindra's characteristic grille with vertical slats, new headlamps and a clamshell hood. To accommodate two extra doors as well as passengers at the rear, the wheelbase has been noticeably extended, while the rear-end features vertical LED taillamps and larger tailgate.
The electric powertrain will pack more juice than the 19 kW motor in the 2-door e2o. A bigger battery will help increase its range and top speed, while Mahindra’s Quick2Charge technology could be offered in top-end variants.

With an electric powertrain, the four-door e20 can avail tax benefits and incentives from the government, which would be appealing to buyers looking for an environment-friendly, city runabout. The report states that it will be launched before the festive season in India, followed by export to international markets.
