Autonetmagz reports that Hyundai Mobil Indonesia will launch the India-made Hyundai i20 at the 2016 GIIAS that opens its doors this week. The new i20 will slot between the Hyundai Grand i10 and Grand Avega.
One of the sales representatives divulged that the Hyundai i20 will be priced at 249 million rupiah (INR 12.7 Lakhs) for the manual transmission variant and 263 million rupiah (INR 13.41 Lakhs) for the automatic variant. Initial deliveries are reported to commence by the end of this month.
The Indonesian-spec Hyundai i20 will offer projector headlamps with cornering lights and LED DRLs, dual airbags and ABS as standard across the range, a 7 inch AVN touchscreen display, bluetooth telephony, automatic climate control, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, reverse parking sensors and push button start.

The report states that the Hyundai i20 will source the 1.4L Gamma VTVT four cylinder petrol engine from the Hyundai Grand Avega, which produces 108 PS and 139 Nm of torque. It will be available with a 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic gearbox. According to reports, Hyundai India will soon launch an AT on the i20, expectedly during the festive season.
