While development continues, Elon Musk, CEO, Tesla Motors, is giving timely updates about the Model 3, even revealing some specifications via his Twitter handle. In his latest post, Musk confirms that the Tesla Model 3 will be available with the 'Ludicrous' driving mode.

Specifying the optional Ludicrous performance upgrade offers the quickest 0-60 mph (0-97 km/h) acceleration time in the Tesla Model S P 90D (2.8 seconds, down from standard 3.1 seconds) and Tesla Model X P 90D (3.2 seconds, down from standard 3.8 seconds). The Ludicrous mode will most likely be an optional upgrade in the Model 3 as well.
