Priced from NPR 5,375,000 (around INR 33.66 Lakhs).
IMS Motors, authorized distributors of Ssangyong in Nepal, has launched the Ssangyong Tivoli for sale. It's priced from NPR 5,375,000 (around INR 33.66 Lakhs), and is imported via the CBU route from South Korea.
The Nepal-spec Tivoli is available with a 1.6L e-XGi160 petrol engine that outputs 126 PS and 160 Nm of torque and a 1.6L e-XDi160 turbodiesel engine capable of 115 PS and 300 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions, while higher grades can be equipped with a 4×4 system.
Ssangyong had unveiled the Tivoli at the Auto Expo 2016 in February to the Indian public, and could be evaluating a launch in the country, as evidenced by several spyshots of the Tivoli testing on Indian roads. If launched, it could accompany the lone Ssangyong Rexton in the company's Indian portfolio, and widen the appeal of the Korean brand in the market.
