SsangYong Tivoli Air (SsangYong Tivoli XLV) launched in South Korea

Is 245 mm longer than the SsangYong Tivoli.

Unveiled as the SsangYong XLVat the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, the SsangYong Tivoli Air has been launched in South Korea in three trim levels with prices ranging from Won 19,490,000-24,490,000 (INR 11,25,693-14,14,481). With a length, width and height of 4,440 mm, 1,795 mm and 1,635 mm, the SsangYong Tivoli Air is 245 longer and 45 mm/35 mm taller than but has the same width as the SsangYong Tivoli. The 2,600 mm-long wheelbase remains unchanged in the stretched version.

The SsangYong Tivoli Air will be available only with the 1.6-litre diesel engine in South Korea.

The SsangYong Tivoli Air features the 1.6 e-XDi LET diesel engine from the Tivoli. This engine produces 115 PS (114 hp) and 30.6 kg.m (300 Nm) of torque, and sends power to the wheels via a 6-speed manual transmission or an Aisin-sourced 6-speed automatic transmission. There's no petrol engine choice for the Tivoli Air. Irrespective of the trim level, the stretched Tivoli can be opted with a four-wheel drive system. Seven exterior colour options are available, with an option for a two-tone roof (without sunroof).

The SsangYong Tivoli Air offers 720 litres of cargo space, which can be increased to 1,440 litres with the second-row seats folded.

Thanks to the increased length, the SsangYong Tivoli Air provides 720 litres of cargo space, which can be increased to a total of 1,440 litres by folding the rear seats. The second-row seats can recline up to 32.5 degrees. There's a 220 volt inverter in the cargo area for convenience of powering various electrical devices on the go. Other interior highlights include ventilated driver's seat, heated steering wheel, heating function for the second-row seats, dual-zone climate control, 7-inch display for the infotainment system, reversing camera and 6-speaker sound system.

SsangYong aims to sell 20,000 units of the SsangYong Tivoli Air in the global market this year.
