Expected to launch in the month of June.
New spyshots courtesy of Motoroids show two prototypes of the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 on test. The spyshots reveal the characteristic Pulsar-inspired taillights with LED elements. The naked motorcycle will sport twin-vertical taillight elements unlike the faired Pulsar RS200's 'Crystal' LED taillights.
For the most part, the production Bajaj Pulsar CS400 resembles the Auto Expo 2014 show-bike. However, the prototypes feature a conventional telescopic front suspension whereas the show-bike featured an upside-down unit. Also, the design of the seat seems to have received a minor change.
When launched though, the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will be the fastest, most powerful and most expensive Pulsar model to go on sale. Power is expected to come from the KTM Duke 390’s 375 cc single-cylinder engine with the addition of the Bajaj triple-spark technology, paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine develops 44 PS and 35 Nm on the Duke 390 and provides for ample performance on the road and track.

Previous spyshots have the shown the Pulsar CS400 to get dual-channel ABS, a stubby exhaust and black-and-silver alloy wheels, similar to the Auto Expo display model. Industry estimates ballpark the price of the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 at INR 1.8 lakhs, ex-Showroom.
