Audi CEO, Rupert Stadler, has announced that the company will invest €3 billion into its facilities, and launch 20 new and facelifted models this year.
One of the models is confirmed to be the Audi Q2, will go on sale in Autumn 2016. Unveiled at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show, it is the smallest product in the 'Q' range of vehicles and is also being considered for the Indian market.
The other products in the 'Q' range include the Audi SQ7 TDI and Q7 e-tron quattro, which further widens the Q7 portfolio. The A4 Allroad Quattro will accompany the Audi S4 and S4 Avant for market launch in the coming months.
Another new product is the 2017 Audi A5 Coupe, which will be unveiled on June 2, and make its motor show premiere in Paris in October. Audi had also unveiled facelifted versions of the Audi A3 sedan and hatchback, which draw cues from the new A4.

In the press release, the German manufacturer has confirmed that their first full electric SUV will go on sale in 2018. The electric SUV was previewed to the world as the Audi e-tron quattro concept at the 2015 IAA in Frankfurt, and could be called the Audi Q6 e-tron when it arrives in showrooms. The next generation Audi A8 is scheduled to arrive in 2017, and will be the brand’s first series produced car capable of piloted driving.
