Reported to arrive in 2017.
Omni Auto has created a rendering of the 2017 Renault Duster (or 2017 Dacia Duster in Europe) which features evolutionary styling. It's expected to arrive in markets across the globe in 2017.
The next-gen Renault Duster will reportedly be based on the Renault-Nissan Alliance’s CMF (Common Module Family) platform, which underpins cars like the Nissan X-Trail and new Renault Megane. There are very little details on its exterior styling, as previous reports have confirmed that the design direction for the car is frozen.
With the new platform, the 2017 Duster will reportedly be offered as a 7-seater too, and will be a proper C-segment SUV. The 5-seat version is reported to measure around 4.3 metres in length while the 7-seat version with its extended wheelbase will be around 4.5 meters long. This will be the first 7-seater SUV from Renault's global product lineup.

The next generation Renault Duster will be instrumental for Renault India, in order to compete against the likes of the Hyundai Creta and the Honda BR-V 7-seater. With the new CMF platform, bigger size and more fuel efficient powertrain, the next gen Duster could help further bolster Renault's market share in a country where SUVs are one of the most popular bodystyles. Prior to the introduction of the new Duster in India, Renault would have also launched the Kaptur (HHA)
