Expected to get a massive interior update.
Argentinian publication, AutoBlog, has rendered the 2017 Ford EcoSport (facelift), which is expected to launch in India and South America in the first half of 2017. The rendering imagines all-new headlight and foglight clusters, a new grille, LED taillights and a new cover for the spare wheel. Unlike the Euro-spec EcoSport S, the Indian and South American models will continue offering the external spare.
Spyshots have shown that Ford has a massive upgrade planned for the interior of the compact SUV as well. An all-new multifunction steering wheel, a larger instrument cluster, rectangular AC vents, a new center console, and an all-new music system with the possible addition of a color screen are the upgrades in store for the EcoSport facelift.
Where the EcoSport facelift for India is unlikely to see any changes is in the powertrain department. The EcoSport petrol is offered with a 1.0-liter turbocharged three-cylinder EcoBoost engine or a 1.5-liter four-cylinder Ti-VCT petrol engine which gets the option of a 6-speed Powershift dual-clutch transmission or a 5-speed manual.

The diesel EcoSport is powered by the 1.5-liter TDCi engine paired to a 5-speed gearbox. This engine was given an update last year and now outputs 100 PS and 205 Nm of torque as against 91 PS and 204 Nm of the older model.
