No plans to launch the stretched variant in markets other than China.
Jaguar has released a teaser image of the all-new Jaguar XF-L and announced that it will debut the stretched variant at Auto China 2016 (2016 Beijing Motor Show) this month. Jaguar Land Rover states that the Jaguar XF-L has been developed exclusively for Chinese customers, indicating that the long-wheelbase variant won't be sold in other markets.
After the Range Rover Evoque and Land Rover Discovery, the Jaguar XF-L will be Jaguar Land Rover's third model and the Jaguar brand's first model to be made in China. It will be built at the Chery Jaguar Land Rover manufacturing facility in Changshu.
The all-new Jaguar XF introduced last year is 4,954 mm long and has a wheelbase of 2,960 mm. The standard wheelbase Jaguar XF is offered with three engine choices in China: 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol unit developing 177 kW (237 hp) and 340 Nm of torque, 3.0-litre V6 unit developing 250 kW (335 hp) and 450 Nm of torque and a 3.0-litre V6 unit developing 280 kW (375 hp) and 450 Nm of torque. One or more these engines will likely make into the Jaguar XF-L, linked to an 8-speed automatic transmission.
