Expected to launch in June.
Yet again, the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 was spied testing, this time by a reader of Motoroids. According to reports, the Pulsar CS400 will have its market launch in the month of June, and it is expected to be the next Pulsar launch from the company.
As seen in the spyshot, the Pulsar CS400 gets conventional telescopic forks up front, as compared to the upside-down forks that were seen on the pre-production model at the Auto Expo 2014. The test mule also shows its large disc brake and ABS unit, though it remains to be seen if the ABS is a dual-channel unit or a single-channel unit. However, ABS is expected to be a standard feature on the most powerful Pulsar ever made.
The Bajaj Pulsar CS400 is expected to be powered by the KTM Duke 390's single-cylinder liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 373 cc engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. On the Duke, this engine develops 43.5 PS at 9,000 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. However, according to a report, this engine will get Bajaj's triple-spark technology, which could alter the engine characteristics, making it more road-oriented.
