The motorcycle has started undergoing road tests.
According to a report on RushLane, the Bajaj Pulsar CS400 will have its market launch 'before the end of June 2016'. The most powerful Pulsar ever made was recently snapped on tests, further lending credence to its launch date.
Compared to the model shown at the Auto Expo 2014 and the test mule, the production Bajaj Pulsar CS400 swaps the upside down forks for regular telescopic forks, and there are minor changes observed on the alloy wheels too.
Powering the Pulsar CS400 will be the single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, fuel-injected 373 cc unit borrowed from the KTM Duke 390. On the KTM, this engine develops 43.5 PS at 9,000 rpm and 35 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm, and is paired to a 6-speed gearbox. In addition, the Pulsar CS400 is expected to get Bajaj's triple-spark technology too.
