Expected to launch "in the coming months".
Datsun is currently testing the CMF-A based small car that is confirmed to arrive in the market in the "coming months". A rendering of Datsun's upcoming entry-level product based on the redi-GO concept has been presented by GaadiWaadi.
As expected, the redi-GO depicted in the rendering is a filtered down version of the Datsun redi-GO concept unveiled at the Auto Expo 2014. It will be the second vehicle to ride on the CMF-A platform that spawned the Renault Kwid, and appears to be banking on its crossver-esque looks to garner appeal.
Reports suggest that the Datsun Redi-Go will be priced below the Renault Kwid, and hence the interior could miss out on some features that are offered in the latter, such as a touchscreen-equipped infotainment system and a digital instrument cluster.

The redi-GO is expected to pack the Kwid's 799 cc SCe engine paired to a five-speed manual transmission. The motor produces 54 PS/74 Nm and is capable of attaining 25.17 km/L (ARAI-certified) in the Kwid.
