To be launched in India and Indonesia simultaneously on January 20.
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V has been leaked, via MaxAbout, before the model debuts in Chennai on January 20. The Apache 200 will share its stage with the TVS Victor at the event.
Set for launch simultaneously in India and Indonesia, the Apache RTR 200 4V will be offered in six colours - Black, Grey, Matte Black, White, Red and Yellow. The website has also posted some photos of the halogen headlamp with LED DRLs, fully digital instrument console, fuel tank of each colour, air-cooled engine with oil-cooler (radiator), exhaust canister with muffler, alloy wheel with petal disc rotor, and the side profile of the red Apache 200.
The specifications of the new flagship Apache RTR have also been leaked, which indicate that the bike is not a KTM Duke competitor but a Bajaj Pulsar RS200-rival. The 197.75 cc single-cylinder air-cooled carbureted engine with an oil-cooler, OHC and four-valves, produces 20.23 PS (15.09 KW) at 8,500 rpm and 18.1 Nm at 7,000 rpm, and is mated to a five-speed gearbox.
The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V gets a 270 mm petal disc brake upfront and a 200 mm unit at the rear which may be governed by ABS on a high-end variant. The tyres are TVS SriChakra of sizes 90/90 R17 at the front and 130/70 R17 at the rear.

The performance figures of the bike are given as 3.9 secs for 0-60 km/h acceleration and 130 km/h for top-speed. Expect the RTR 200 4V to be priced a shade under INR 1 lakh,
