The next generation Mercedes E Class (W213) lineup will widen in mid-2016, when the new E Class estate breaks cover. It is expected to arrive in European showrooms from September 2016.
Based on spyshots of pre-production E Class estate test mules, IAB's graphic artist, Shoeb R Kalania has created a render, giving an idea as to what we can expect, with respect to the exterior design. It will be the most feature-packed and practical estate from the Mercedes Benz product lineup, when launched.
Dimensions of the E Class estate could be similar to the E Class sedan (the length and height could be about 30 mm more), which is 43 mm longer than its predecessor, now measuring 4,923 mm, while the wheelbase has increased to 2,939 mm by 65 mm. Exterior features we can expect are Multibeam LED headlamps with DRL, new air intake design, long horizontal LED taillamps, power tailgate, and optional Multi Chamber air suspension.
