To accompany the 2016 BMW 7 Series and 2016 BMW X1.
According to Autocar India, BMW India will host three debuts at the upcoming Auto Expo 2016 in Noida. While two of them are tipped to be the 2016 BMW 7 Series and 2016 BMW X1, the third model will be the BMW 3 Series facelift.
Changes in the BMW 3 Series facelift are minimal in nature. It gets updated headlamp and taillamp clusters, revised air intakes in the front bumper and minor revisions to the rear bumper. Inside, the only changes are new chrome highlights for the center console, AC vents and controls, while the cup holders in the floor console get a new sliding cover.
One of the headline changes for the BMW 3 Series facelift in Europe was the introduction of a more-powerful 326 PS BMW 340i variant. For the Indian market however, it will continue offering the the 2.0-liter four-cylinder TwinPower Turbo engine which produces 184 hp and 380 Nm of torque, and is paired to an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.
