First RenaultSport model introduced in Brazil.
The Renault Sandero R.S is expected to launch in the Brazilian market in the first half of September, following its unveil in June in Argentina. According to Autos segredos, the first RenaultSport model for the Brazilian market is expected to cost BRL 58,880 (INR 11.03 Lakhs).
Like any global RenaultSport model, the 2016 Renault Sandero R.S features a dynamic body kit that includes deep bumpers with LED DRLs integrated in the lower fascia, and an R.S badge underneath the Renault lozenge. It comes with 16-inch black alloy rims and optional side body decals, while the rear sports smoked taillamps, an integrated roof spoiler, and a dark chrome-finished twin pipe exhaust system.
Under the hood, the 2016 Renault Sandero R.S packs a 2.0-liter 16v flexi-fuel engine sourced from the local Renault Duster, which delivers 145 hp through a six-speed manual gearbox. For better handling, it features ESC with sports tuning, a stiffer suspension setting, and an upgraded braking system with four discs.
