Launch in October.
Ahead of its expected launch in October, a pre-production Renault Duster Oroch has been spotted undisguised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, courtesy of Auto Esporte reader Leonardo Kovanski. Renault had already revealed the Duster pick-up at the 2015 Buenos Aires Auto Show in Argentina in June.
The front-end is taken straight out of the Renault Duster SUV, save for exclusive features like a ‘Duster’ nameplate underneath the single slat grille. The Duster Oroch is, reportedly, 4.7 m long, 1.8 m wide and 1.69 m high in dimensions
Compared to the Duster SUV, the rear end has been extended to accommodate a sizable pickup bed, which has a towing capacity of 650 kg. It also gets larger taillamps, black plastic arch extensions, and a tonneau cover for the truck bed.

The Renault Duster Oroch will be powered by a 1.6 or 2.0-liter four cylinder engines sourced from the Duster. Although official power figures haven't been released, it could be identical to the Duster SUV's numbers, where the 1.6-liter engine produces 115 hp and paired to a 5-speed manual, while the 2.0-liter flex fuel unit delivers 148 hp and 177.5 Nm of torque on ethanol or 142 hp and 168 Nm on gasoline through a 6-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic. Other than the standard 4×2 drive system, Renault will also offer an optional 4×4 system.
