Brochure says 1.6L diesel delivers 133 PS.
TeamBHP has uploaded images of an early brochure of the Hyundai Creta, which launches in India on July 21, 2015.
First up, the technical specifications of the Creta reveal that it will measure 4,270 mm in length, 1,780 mm in width, 1,630 mm in height and 2,590 mm in wheelbase. Other dimensions see an 'xxx' mark, indicating that this is not the final brochure of the compact SUV.
Further, the brochure states that the 1.6-liter diesel engine of the compact SUV will produce 133 PS and 26.5 kgm (265 Nm) of torque, which is contrary to what Hyundai said at the preview of the Creta in Chennai last month. The Korean car maker stated that the 1.6L diesel engine will produce 128 PS, though torque figures were not released.
The brochure also reveals that the Creta will come in a total of 7 exterior colors. The variant walk, and variant-wise feature list are identical to a previous leaked document however. To recap, the Creta launches in Base, S, S+, SX, SX+ and SX (O) variants. The 6-speed automatic transmission is reserved to the SX+ variant fitted with the 1.6-liter diesel engine. A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard on all engines though.
