No changes to the powertrain of the car.
Audi India will launch the 2015 RS7 (facelift) on May 11, 2015, nearly a year after it was unveiled in overseas markets.
Cosmetic changes are few, and subtle in nature. A honeycomb Singleframe grille with sharper borders complements a revised front bumper with redesigned air inlets. The headlights now come standard with LED lighting technology, but on request, they can be upgraded to Audi's Matrix LED which is seen on the A8 facelift.
The taillight clusters sport a new interior design with LED bands for the brake lights. When equipped with the LED lighting system, Audi will also provide its dynamic turn signals, another feature which is seen on the flagship A8 sedan. Finally, the 2015 RS7 can be had in new paint finishes which include Sepang Blue, Floret Silver, Glacier White and Mythos Black.
Inside, Audi's designers have made modest changes to the dashboard (the AC vents, paddle shifters and Quattro emblem on the instrument panel get minor design revisions), while the MMI system has been updated with a better graphics chip from Audi's partner, Nvidia.
Where Audi has made no changes is to the 4.0-liter V8 TFSI engine which makes 560 hp and 700 Nm of torque. Matched to an 8-speed automatic transmission sending drive to all wheels, the RS7 can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds, while the top-speed can be optionally increased from 250 km/h to 280 km/h or 305 km/h.
