The 150AS is reportedly based on a new perimeter frame.
Hot on the heels of launching the Bajaj Pulsar RS200, the fastest Pulsar yet, Bajaj Auto will introduce another Pulsar offering on April 14, 2015. Speaking to CNBC-TV18, Rajiv Bajaj, Managing Director of Bajaj Auto, said that the company has "another big launch this month on April 14, again an all-new Pulsar".
Spyshots have shown Bajaj to be testing a 200AS and a 150AS, but its the latter that Mr. Bajaj might be referring to as the 'all-new Pulsar'. The 200AS is nothing but an adventure body style on the 200NS's platform, whereas the 150AS is reported to make use of an all-new perimeter frame, that will be introduced on the regular Pulsar 150 as well.
These particular spyshots were snapped by Indian Autos Blog reader, Mr. Rohan Takalkar.
The motorcycle would carry over the carburetor-fed 150 cc single-cylinder engine from the Pulsar 150 though improvements could be made to the power delivery. For reference, this engine makes 15.06 PS and 12.5 Nm of torque on the Pulsar 150, paired to a 5-speed transmission.

The 150AS is expected to come with features such as illuminated switches, projector headlight, a petal-rotor front disc, alloy wheels, and alloy footrests and sub-frames. However, ABS or even a rear disc brake will not be seen on the 150AS.
