Bajaj Auto announced today afternoon that the Bajaj Pulsar RS200 is priced at INR 1.18 lakh for the non-ABS variant and at INR 1.30 lakh for the ABS variant (ex-showroom Delhi).
The motorcycle is powered by a 199.5 cc 4-valve triple-spark DTSi engine with fuel injection. It outputs 24.5 PS @ 9,750 rpm and 18.6 Nm @ 8,000 rpm, and has a top speed of 141 km/h. The motorcycle measures 1,999 mm long, 765 mm wide, 1,114 mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 1,355 mm. Its ground clearance stands at 157 mm and its kerb weight is at 165 kg.
The front suspension is a telescopic fork with anti-friction bush, while the rear is a Nitrox mono shock with Canister. The front tire is 100/80-17 52 P tubeless while the rear is a 130/70-17 62P tubeless specification.
Features on Bajaj's first fully faired motorcycle it said are twin projector headlamps (HD focus with projector), 'Race Exhaust' (Midship race spec exhaust with throaty sound), Single channel ABS with 300 mm front disc (largest in the segment) and 230 mm rear disc, Crystal LED taillamp, Liquid cooling, and Perimeter frame (high stiffness-low flex).
