A launch is expected to take place in April.
Gaadi.com has clicked this image of a fleet of Tata Nano Twist Actives ready to be shipped to dealerships. Given that production of the car is underway, and certain dealerships may have already started receiving the car, a launch is expected to take place in April.
To recap, the Nano will be given a facelift for the 2015 model year with changes being made to the front and rear bumpers, addition of new body colors and smoked headlight clusters, but most importantly, new and improved features.
The Twist Active seen here features a functional tailgate, a first on the Nano. Engineers have given the small car a bootlid with hydraulic mounts, a redesigned windshield, and a release mechanism with a keyhole.
Tata will also introduce an automated manual transmission (AMT) on the Nano Twist Active. This version, dubbed the F-Tronic, gets a Magneti Marelli made unit, which Tata Motors claims delivers 10-15 percent better fuel economy over a traditional automatic transmission.

Apart from these features, the Nano is expected to get a new 3-spoke steering wheel, a new wood-like insert for the center console, glovebox and gearlever, and new seat fabrics. A larger 24 liter fuel tank was also seen on the pre-production concept showcased at the Auto Expo 2014.
