Has had its launch delayed repeatedly.
The Mahindra Mojo was spied by IAB reader Rohan Takalkar in Pune, in production specification. The motorcycle was showcased in two colours at the Auto Expo 2014 exactly a year ago, and at the NADA Auto Show in Nepal later in the year.
Mahindra officials had said that the bike would come to the market soon after the Auto Expo premiere, but the launch has seen repeated delays, and bikes continue to test on Indian roads and test tracks.
The Mojo is powered by a 295 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that produces 27 bhp and 25 Nm of torque. Compared to the specifications shown earlier, the fuel tank has been raised and so has the rear seat to give the rider a bucketed feel. The fronts forks also appear beefier than before.
The Mojo sports a raised handlebar with bar-end weights and buffed alloy levers, new knee recesses, sporty radiator shrouds and engine cowl, and a high-mounted LED taillamp.
It is not clear when the Mahindra flagship two-wheeler would see the light of day, but expect it to be in showrooms this year.
