Expected to launch by March 2015.
The Mahindra Mojo has been spotted many times by now, but these new photos are by far the clearest and un-camouflaged photos of them all. The 295 cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder machine that produces 27 bhp and 25 Nm of torque was recently spotted while testing at the Kari Speedway in Coimbatore.
Since the first time the motorcycle was shown to media in 2010, the Mojo has constantly been revised, before its final updated look that was showcased at this year's Auto Expo. In the latest version, the tank has been raised and so has the rear seat to give the rider a nice bucketed feel. Also the fronts forks now appear to be beefier than before.
While the golden colour twin-tubular frame under the tank is a signature of the Mojo since it was first seen, the motorcycle sports a dual exhaust setup with a canister on each side, which is strange since Mahindra has clearly stated that the Mojo would be a single-cylinder motorcycle.
The Mahindra Mojo is expected to launch at a price of around 1.5 lakh. With that price bracket, the motorcycle would compete with naked bikes like the KTM Duke 200/390 and the faired CBR 250R.
