Benefits from a new music system.
Maruti Suzuki has launched a special edition on the new Swift. Called the Maruti Swift Windsong edition, the hatchback sports customized exterior and interior along with added features.
The Windsong edition will be sold on the VXi and VDi variants of the car. The exterior sees 'Windsong' graphics and decals, front and rear mud flaps and an Arctic White rear upper spoiler. Inside, the Windsong edition gets seat covers, steering wheel cover, illuminated sill guards, PVC floor mats and Ambient Lighting.
This edition also benefits from a Sony touchscreen music system which features CD/DVD/Bluetooth/USB and gets an integrated reverse camera along with parking sensors.
There are no mechanical updates or changes to the Windsong edition. The petrol variant gets power from a 1.2-liter K-Series engine while the diesel uses the 1.3-liter DDiS unit. Maruti engineers tweaked these motors to extract about 10 percent more economy when the Swift was updated last year.
The petrol Swift delivers 20.4 km/l while the diesel returns 25.2 km/l.
