Pulsar 200 SS already previewed overseas.
Joining the Bajaj 200 SS on the launchpad in 2015 will be a smaller Pulsar 160 NS, and updated versions of the Platina and Discover, revealed a report on Overdrive.
Bajaj Auto's MD Mr Rajiv Bajaj has mentioned the planned launch of four new products next year between the months of January and April. The four models, includes the highly awaited Pulsar 200 SS which is the faired version of the Pulsar 200 NS. Power figures will be identical while a few ECU tweaks are expected to make up for the added weight of the fairing.
Next up is the Pulsar 160 NS, which will use the same platform as the current 200 NS but will offer a smaller capacity engine. Powered by a new 160 cc engine, the product will be an upgrade from the Pulsar 150 DTSi both in terms of engine and chassis.
The report also suggests that the relaunched Platina could get a four-valve engine while there are no concrete details available for the Discover. The new Platina, caught last month on test, revealed a similar overall design as the current bike but a revised powertrain.
