India unveil expected soon.
While we are still filling our appetites, high on anticipation for the Bajaj Pulsar 200 SS, Bajaj's first attempt at a sportsbike has already been unveiled in Turkey. As deduced from the spyshots, the design is a direct carry over from the Pulsar SS 400.
From these images, the new Pulsar in its final avatar looks every bit good as in the previously released spyshots. Featuring dual projectors and LED DRLs right above them, the Pulsar sports impressive looks. And a wide fuel tank design with a full fairing finished in shiny yellow and matte black gives it a very sporty appeal.
While the plastic quality looks of the higher order, the dual-tone finish with yellow and white as the base colors, with black vinyls on top seems to be the communication color theme for the bike. Apart from the yellow/white combination, the motorcycle will also be available in blue/white and red/white color combinations.
While the Pulsar awaits to be launched officially for the Indian market, the Colombian market is also quite upbeat on receiving this new 200cc machine. The instrument cluster seems to have migrated from the exiting Pulsar 200 NS, while the rear diamond shaped taillight assembly is completely new and the short stout exhaust also sports a complete redesign.

Once launched in India, the 23.52 PS (23.1 bhp) single-cylinder (similar to the current Pulsar 200 NS) Pulsar 200 SS would go head-to-head with the Hero Karizma R, the Honda CBR250R, the Yamaha R15 and KTM RC200. Although, the Pulsar would get an upper hand as it would feature ABS which the KTM lacks, and would be maintaining a slightly lower price but a premium European feel and more power would play in favor of the RC200.
