Paris Live – 2015 Mercedes C Class (India-bound)

To be launched in India sometime next year.

The new Mercedes C Class shares the stage with the go-faster C 63 AMG at the 2015 Paris Motor Show. The car world premiered at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show in January.

The executive sedan which is slated to be launched in India early next year will be available in a range of petrol and diesel engines, all mated to automatic transmissions.

Underpinned by the MRA (Modular Rear-wheel drive Architecture) platform, the new C Class is longer (by 95 mm), wider (by 40 mm) and has its wheelbase extended by 80 mm. The new hybrid aluminium construction has resulted in an impressive weight saving of up to 100 kg.

The exterior and interior styling are in line with Mercedes’ latest models, targeting a younger group of audience compared to its predecessor.

Equipment wise, the popular luxury sedan offers a plethora of optional features such as DISTRONIC PLUS, AIR BALANCE, AIRMATIC suspension, etc.

    Have got to know that the c class is being launched this year itself? Does IAB have any update?

        I have heard of a November end launch as all the stocks of the current generation c class are already exhausted?
