The Mlada Boleslav plant in the Czech Republic has been refurbished to produce the 2015 Fabia.
The Skoda has unveiled the next gen Fabia through a single official image, ahead of its public appearance at the Paris Motor Show in October.
Skoda has announced that production at all of its three facilities in Czech Republic has resumed in full swing after a two week long shut down. The shut down was for regular maintenance and refurbishment purposes. The brand's main plant at Mlada Boleslav has been prepared to roll out the new Fabia which is scheduled to enter production at the end of August.
Skoda says that it will be pushing forward the biggest model campaign in his history for the Fabia. During the factory shut down, around 40 industrial engineering companies were at work to upgrade the plant's paint shop and assembly lines.
The appearance of the new Fabia is in line with the brand's latest corporate identity. The new interior of the premium hatchback is claimed to offer high level of individualization.
The next gen Fabia's engine lineup is 17% more efficient than that of the outgoing model. Fuel saving features like Start/Stop system and brake energy recovery system are standard across the range.
The 2015 Skoda Fabia is expected to go on sale in Europe shortly after its Paris debut. The Indian launch of the hatchback is not expected in the near future since Skoda India is focusing on the Rapid and segments above.
