Hyundai's upcoming rival to the Ford EcoSport and the Renault Duster has been spied once again doing the runs in China. The new pictures don't reveal much detail, except that the front seats are dual-toned.
The dual-tone theme of blue and black also continue to some bits on the door panel. The test mule is equipped with a manual transmission. The test mule also features twin cup holders next to the handbrake and a cubby hole above it.
The ix25 has been spied before, revealing decent rear legroom, rear aircon vents and a three-seater bench at the rear. The compact SUV is reported to have a wheelbase of 2,570 mm, compared to the Ford EcoSport's wheelbase of 2,520 mm.
The car is set to be unveiled at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show in April and will see its launch happening in China towards the end of this year, according to Chinese media reports.
The ix25 is built on the i20's platform, but it is reported that the ix25 will be launched before the i20, which is set to make its global debut at the Paris Motor Show in September. The 2015 i20 was recently spied testing in Chennai.
The ix25 is based on the Hyundai Curb Concept that was unveiled at the 2011 Detroit Motor Show.
