After the introduction of new colors on the Yamaha R15, special editions of the Yamaha FZ16 and Fazer with radically different paint schemes have reached showroom floors in some parts of the country. The idea behind such special editions is to cash in on the festive season rush.
According to motoroids, there is no mechanical difference. The paint scheme combines blue, black and white, contrasting to the conventional plain red or black, which today is a common sight in metros. Additionally, decals plastered to the mud guard and fuel tank enhance look.
We’ll hopefully bring you clearer images shortly with all the details.

i like this bike thats it its 8 wonder bike
@ashutosh – Dude i agree that the FZ would have been better with a more powerful engine, but i wouldn’t say its a shitty engine or it sucks like what you said. It is pretty neat for a 150cc 4stroke engine, just try peping it up a bit, get a filter, tune your carb, iridium sparks and a high tension cable and a decent diffuser. It will change how things are and besides on cornering nothing other than the R15 will beat it. It would’ve been beautiful if it was given the R15 engine but then the price would’ve risen, or they could’ve have the R15 engine with a carb instead of the ECU on the FZ.

Absolutely shit!
I would have loved if yamaha launched fazer with 200+ cc. 150 cc fazer sucks and sucks bigtime!
A colorful gift! from Yamaha India on the occasion of festival of colors.
