The 2018 Toyota Land Cruiser Prado features a comprehensively redesigned exterior and interior. Most amount of changes on the outside are at the front. The new headlamps with LED lighting given an aggressive look to the face. The bumper, vertical bars and fog lamps looks more angular now. All in all, the new front of the SUV makes it it look very imposing. At the rear, the tweaked tail lamps are darker, and the bumper and skid plate are also restyled.

Japanese reports suggest the possibility of the Toyota Fortuner's 2GD-FTV 2.4-litre diesel engine joining the list of options.
The second facelift to the fourth-gen Toyota Land Cruiser Prado will bring the Toyota Safety Sense P safety suite to it.
