Fair Auto Pvt. Ltd., the authorised distributor of Terra Motors has launched the Terra Acuto at the 2017 NADA Auto Show in Nepal. The electric scooter is priced at NPR 2,35,000.
Terra Motors is a Japanese company specialising in the manufacture and sale of electric scooters and electric three wheelers. The company also has a presence in India, where it sells electric three wheelers and batteries.

The Terra Acuto features a 60V 29A lithium ion battery from Panasonic. For convenient charging, the battery is removable as well. The scooter claims an acceleration time from 0- over 75 kmph in 7 seconds. The claimed range stands at 75-80 km on a full charge, and it takes 3.5 hours for the battery to charge completely. There’s a two-year warranty on battery, charger, motor and controller as well.
The electric scooter features 12-inch alloy wheels on both ends. It gets disc brakes on both front and rear. Another interesting feature of the scooter is the keyless entry system. The instrumentation is all digital and the lighting system is all-LED. Terra Motors also sells the Seed 60 Alfa in the country at a price of NPR 1,10,000. It gets a lead acid battery with a 45 km range.
