Earlier this month, Shoeb Kalania illustrated the 2018 Renault Duster with a little distinctive styling. Now, IAB’s digital artist has imagined the next-gen Renault Duster Oroch based on the 2018 Dacia Duster.
The Renault Duster is the company’s first medium-sized pickup, and it was introduced in 2015. Just two years old, and a regional model, the pickup is unlikely to undergo a lifecycle makeover anytime soon. Also consider the fact that the Duster Oroch is a commercial vehicle, which usually tends to have a longer lifecycle than passenger cars. Whenever Renault redesigns the Duster Oroch, though, this is how it may look like.
The current Renault Duster Oroch is 4,700 mm long, 1,821 mm wide and 1,625 mm tall, and rides on a 2,829 mm wheelbase. It offers 206 mm of ground clearance and is available in 4-door dual-cab version only. The bed of the pickup is 1.17 metres long and 1.35 metres wide, and it offers a cargo capacity of up to 680 kg. In Argentina, 110 cv (110 hp) 1.6-litre 16V petrol and 143 cv (143 hp) 2.0-litre 16V petrol are the engine options. 5-speed manual and 6-speed manual are the transmission choices. The Brazilian-spec is available with flex-fuel 1.6-litre 16V SCe and 2.0-litre 16V engines and has a 4-speed automatic transmission choice too.

The Renault Duster Oroch competes with the Volkswagen Saveiro and Fiat Strada, and is manufactured at the São Jose dos Pinhais plant in Brazil. Its prices start at AR$ 3,52,000 and R$67,150 in Brazil.
