The biggest gainer of the GST tax reform in Toyota's range.
Along with the Toyota Innova Crysta, TKM has also released the updated price list of the Toyota Fortuner SUV. In Delhi, prices now range between INR 24.4 Lakhs - INR 29.17 Lakhs (ex-showroom).

For the Fortuner, prices have been slashed between INR 2.25 Lakhs - INR 2.68 Lakhs, making it the biggest benefactor of the new tax reform in Toyota's model range. Like the Innova Crysta, the Fortuner is now subjected to a uniform tax rate of 43 percent (28 + 15), against the pre-GST rate of 55.3 percent. With such a significant reduction in price, expect consumer interest on the Fortuner to increase this fiscal.

India's best-selling vehicle above INR 24 lakhs is available with two engine options: a 122 kW (166 PS) 2.7-litre petrol and 130 kW (177 PS) 2.8-litre diesel engines, which can be had with a 6-speed manual or automatic. A 4×4 system is only available in the top-end 2.8 version. The diesel variant is capable of averaging a fuel mileage of 12 km/L (manual transmission) and 11 km/L (automatic transmission).
