Suzuki V-Strom 250 (DL250 concept) was first showcased in China in 2016.
The Suzuki V-Strom 250 has been launched in China. The quarter-litre adventure tourer is offered in trims with and without ABS. The bike is priced at CNY 29,880 for the non-ABS version and CNY 31,880 for the ABS trim.
Styled after the Suzuki V-Strom 650 and Suzuki V-Strom 1000, the Suzuki V-Strom 250 is powered by a 248 cc liquid-cooled, parallel twin, SOHC mill coupled to a 6-speed gearbox. Focused towards low- and mid-range output, the bike is claimed to provide maximum acceleration at speeds between 20 km/h to 90 km/h. The numbers stand at 25 PS of maximum power at 8,000 rpm and 23.40 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
The Suzuki V-Strom 250 tips the scales at 188 kg and has a 17-litre fuel tank with a claimed range of over 500 km. The bike gets a tall windscreen, side case attachment, 10-spoke alloy wheels, IRC tyres, LCD instrumentation, LED taillamp and a charging socket. It has a seat height of 800 mm and a ground clearance of 160 mm.
The Suzuki V-Strom 250 has also been confirmed for the European market. Deliveries in the UK were expected to begin in March 2017 but has seen delays.
