The 2017 Maruti Swift that is reported to be entering production in India this October will offer comparatively lesser safety. Like the 2017 Maruti Dzire, it may have ABS with EBD and BA, dual-front airbags and ISOFIX child seat anchorages as standard, but it’s unlikely to get six airbags, adaptive cruise control and other advanced safety features in the European markets, Australia and Japan.
