Confirmed to launch for sale this year.
Team-BHP member DRIVE3R has spied the 2017 Mahindra Scorpio (facelift) testing in Chennai with less camouflage than before, revealing the new grille and a part of the bumper. It is confirmed to launch for sale in India later this year.
The 2017 Mahindra Scorpio will feature a new grille with chrome inserts similar in design to the Mahindra Imperio, as well as restyled bumper with horizontal slats for the intake. Camouflage around the posterior hints at a new bumper, reflective strips and tail lamp graphics. Dimensions are expected to match the current model, which is 4,456 mm in length, 1,820 mm in width and 1,930 mm/1,995 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,680 mm.
The interior is yet to be photographed, but expect freshness through a new colour theme, upholstery and trim, as well as 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto, EcoSense and Connected Apps downloaded from the 2017 Mahindra XUV500. Like the current model, a set of jump seats for the third row is likely.

Reports suggest that the 2017 Mahindra Scorpio will get the more powerful 2.2-litre 'mHawk 140' turbodiesel engine, which outputs 20 hp more than the current Scorpio. It is also reported to retain the 5-speed manual gearbox, while the automatic variant will receive the new 6-speed Aisin unit.
