The Hero Glamour SV has developed at Hero's R&D facility (CIT) in Jaipur.
Hero MotoCorp entered Argentina in January 2017 with the all-new Hero Glamour 125. The motorcycle is retailed in Latin America as the Hero Ignitor. Following its global launch, the bike was introduced in India in April 2017. Now, Hero Motocorp has renamed the motorcycle the Hero Glamour SV, while retaining the older Glamour.
The Hero Glamour SV is powered by a new 124.7 cc mill coupled to a 4-speed gearbox. The engine is capable of producing 11.4 bhp of maximum power at 7,500 rpm and 11 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The previous generation Glamour produced 9.1 PS and 10.35 Nm. The engine is BSIV compliant and the fuel injected variant allows them to be ready for BSVI norms which will be applicable from 2020.
The fuel injected version of the Hero Glamour accounts for 10 percent of the sales and is priced considerably higher than the carburetted version at INR 63,580 (ex-showroom, Delhi) despite which it is the most accessible fuel injected motorcycle in India. The carburetted Hero Glamour SV starts at INR INR 57,755 for the drum brake variant and goes up to INR 59,775 for the front disc brake trim (both prices ex-showroom, Delhi)

The Hero Glamour SV also gets i3S technology which is a start-stop technology helping the bike return an improved fuel efficiency of 3 percent (carburetted) and 7 percent (fuel injected). An exact fuel efficiency figure though has not been revealed.
Brakes in the Hero Glamour SV are a disc brake up front and a drum setup in the rear. Colour options for the carburetted version include Candy Blazing Red+Black, Black+Sports Red, Black+Techno Blue and Black+Tornado Grey. The fuel injected version misses out on Black+Techno Blue shade.
