Ford Brazil has listed the 2018 Ford EcoSport on its website and posted an image of the facelifted compact SUV ahead of its launch in July.
The image of the Brazilian-spec facelifted Ford EcoSport may not be in high resolution, but does reveal the changes part of the facelift which look similar to that of the U.S.-spec Ford EcoSport and Chinese-spec facelifted Ford EcoSport. The Ford Escape (Ford Kuga)-inspired face of the B-SUV features a single-piece grille, new design, bigger headlamps with projector lighting, triangular fog lamps and a restyled bumper. It also gets a tailgate-mounted spare wheel with body-painted wheel covers.
The pre-facelift Ford EcoSport is sold with 1.6-litre Sigma 16V, 1.6-litre Sigma TiVCT or a 2.0-litre Duratec 16V flex-fuel (petrol-ethanol) engines. The facelifted EcoSport will debut the new 1.5-litre Ti-VCT three-cylinder flex-fuel engine that produces 137.2 CV (137.2 hp) and 158.5 Nm of torque running on ethanol. Brazil is the first market set to get this new engine.

Inside, the 2018 Ford EcoSport features a redesigned dashboard, a free-standing display running Ford's SYNC 3 infotainment software, new steering wheel, new instrument dials that flank a larger MID. The Brazilian-spec version facelifted model will debut at the 2017 Buenos Aires Motor Show in June and its sales will commence by the beginning of July.
As for the Indian market, the facelifted EcoSport is expected to launch in Q3 2017. Pre-production test mules have already been spied testing on Indian roads.
