Changes are cosmetic.

Ford is prepping a new 'Sports' variant of the Ford Figo and Ford Aspire models, which is reported to launch in India this month. The Figo Sports has been spied at what seems to be a dealership yard by Thrustzone.

Both the Figo Sports and Aspire Sports are likely to share the same cosmetic changes, which has been revealed in new spy shots of the former. The exterior gets a gloss black mesh grille, gloss black foglamp bezels, black alloy rims (seem to be 14 inchers), black ORVM caps, a black moulding across the side profile, and a roof spoiler.

The interior has not been revealed, but we expect it to feature exclusive seat covers, leather-wrapped steering wheel and a touchscreen infotainment system from the Ford EcoSport Platinum. It is unclear if the Aspire Sports will stick the beige and black cabin colour combination or a black interior to match the exterior.

The Figo and Aspire's engine lineup include a 1.2-liter Ti-VCT petrol, a 1.5-liter Ti-VCT petrol paired to a 6-speed Powershift dual-clutch transmission, and a 1.5-liter TDCi diesel engine power the small car. We are not sure whether all three engine options will be available for the Sports variant.
