Tata Motors accepting pre-orders online for INR 5,000.
Tata Motors has put up the Tata Tigor's micro-website live ahead of its launch on 29 March. The company is also offering the convenience of booking the car online, having announced the start of bookings this week.
The Tata Tigor's bookings page reveals that its buyers will have six colour choices: Berry Red, Copper Dazzle, Espresso Brown, Pearlescent White, Platinum Silver and Striker Blue. The options remain the same for petrol and diesel models. Only the petrol model gets 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, with the diesel model settling for 14-inch alloy wheels.
The Tata Tigor measures 3,992 mm in length, 1,677 mm in width and 1,537 mm in height. The 'Styleback' sedan has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and offers 170 mm of ground clearance. There's 419 litres of boot space available, 177 litres more than in the Tiago on which it's based.
Two engine options are available: 1.2-litre Revotron petrol and 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel. The three-cylinder petrol engine develops 85 PS and 114 Nm of torque, while the three-cylinder diesel engine produces 70 PS and 140 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard.
