National launch scheduled for March 29.
Bookings for the Tata Tigor are now open across all dealerships, for which a minimum deposit of INR 5,000 is required. The Tigor will go on sale from March 29, when Tata will announce its much awaited prices.
The Tigor is Tata's newest sub-4m sedan to hit the market. Based on the Tata Tiago hatchback, the Tigor measures 3,992 mm in length, 1,677 mm in width and 1,537 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,450 mm, while the ground clearance is 170 mm. Some of the new features exclusive to Tigor are blacked out projector headlamps, 15 inch dual tone alloy wheels (petrol only), wide LED brake light and a new Copper Brown color option.
Inside, the Tata Tigor comes with an all black interior contrasted by body-colored and gloss black accents in the XZ grade. It also gets an Harman touchscreen infotainment system with 8-speakers, steering-mounted audio controls, multi-info display, City and Eco Driving modes, and an automatic climate control. The boot offers a class-leading luggage capacity of 419 litres.

The engine lineup includes an 85 PS/114 Nm 1.2L Revotron 3-cyl petrol engine and a 70 PS/140 Nm 1.05L Revotorq 3-cyl turbo diesel engine. Both models are only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox at launch.
