Is Tata's first mid-engined sports car.
The Tata TaMo Racemo sports car will launch in India for sale by December 2017. It will be produced in small numbers and each car sold is numbered. For instance, '001' and '002' were pre-production examples showcased at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.
The Tamo Racemo measures 3,835 mm in length, 1,810 mm in width and 1,208 in height, and has a wheelbase of 2,430 mm and a ground clearance of 165 mm, which can be manually adjusted. The Tamo Racemo is India's first kit car and is built on the MOFlex Multi-Material Sandwich (MMS) platform with a small number modules rather than hundreds of small components, making it easy for dealers and DIY enthusiasts to assemble the car.

The Racemo is powered by a modified version of the 1.2-litre Revotron turbocharged three-cylinder engine placed in the middle of the chassis. This unit develops 190 PS and 210 Nm of torque and sends the drive to the rear wheels via a 6-speed automated manual transmission. The company claims a 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under 6 seconds, and virtually out-accelerates the Toyota GT86.
