Honda’s first big CKD is being retailed at a discount of INR 1 lakh at a dealership in Mumbai. This though is applicable only on BSIII models and is a dealer level discount offered as a stock clearance measure.
The Honda CBR650F is a sports tourer with an in-line four cylinder mill displacing 648.72 cc. Coupled to a 6-speed gearbox the engine is capable of producing 86.47 PS of maximum power at 11,000 rpm and 62.9 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm.
Braking system is a twin 320 mm disc up front and a single 240 mm unit in the rear with ABS on both the wheels. The rear end gets a 180/55 - 17 specification tyre while the front gets 120/70-17 unit. The Honda CBR650F is one of the most usable middleweights on sale in India but its high price tag has been a deterrent for many.
